A while back, I posted this inquiry. Yesterday, it dawned on me to try something. Sure enough, found the trouble. The SunPak charger doesn't work. That's the whole problem! Although the lights sequence as though it is doing the job, reality shows this charger is really doing nothing! After trying the same batteries in another charger my wife picked up, the batteries seem to do just fine. Boxcab E50
Good and bad news! I actually had a charger go "bad"... I did not realize it until I took the multimeter to it and found there was an internal short.... Harold
Harold- After this many months of wondering, I am both embarrassed, and ticked off. Yet happy to know what the trouble is. (How's that for a broad range of emotions?) I'd have been trying to charge up another set of batteries, and thinking they were also bad. Good grief!!!! Boxcab E50
