Hi, All. It has been awhile. The summer modeling doldrums are here, I guess. I am sharing a single photo of a surprise vehicle Carlos sent to me with my last order. It is not offered on his website but has become my favorite vehicles. It is a woody wagon. It painted with both acrylic and spray can paints. It takes a lot of masking and prep work but the effort is worth it. I added some surfboards to the roof. They came from a MTL waterfront kit. I will add fins to the boards in the fullness of time. I am taking it slow while I recover from an accident but have finished off another dozen or so of his vehicles. I hope you enjoy it. Ask any questions. Happy Summer. Jim

NICCCE!!!! The surfboards and wood sides are great!!!!

Make sure to send pictures to Carlos so he can post them on his Facebook page. I’m sure he’d love to see these.

Thanks, Kurt. The worst is over and I am in PT now. It's just a matter of time. I don't have a beach scene, yet. I do have an El Camino with a couple of surfboards in the back as well. So I guess I am sub-consciously planning one and don't know it. LOL

Thank You, Scott. I used a combination of Tamiya 1mm and 6mm masking tapes. The wood panels are Vallejo 71.033 (yellow ochre) and Vallejo 311 (New Wood.) The red is Tamiya TS-8 (Italian red) spray can. The roof is Vallejo 72.051 (Black.) The chrome is done with a Molotow chrome 1mm marker and the windows are done with pigmented ink markers. It took a couple of days to complete but I think it was worth it. Jim

Jim great work as always. I never would have thought you could get results like that without a brush and a steady hand. Real nice!
