    Good Morning All,
The Granddaughter of President Edward T. Reidy is looking for some help. Her Grandfather Pres. Reidy used to ride in passenger car #100 which was reserved for his use and his use only. She is trying to find that car, I don't know for what purpose other than knowing where it is at or if it is not in a museum someplace maybe placing it in one. If anyone knows the disposition of this car please email me at twopretzels@yahoo.com and make sure you note that the email is about car 100. Thanks in advance, Scrapdockson:thumbs_up:

Nothing comes into mind of a car #100 still existing. Would be nice if it does survive. I wonder if surfing museum web sites in the mid-west region might turn up some info?

CGW Business Car #99 is at the Illinois Railway Museum.

NCDOT had it for sale on ebay a few years ago, but I don't recall anyone winning the bid for it. NCDOT was clearing out a bunch of equipment at the time.

CGW to CNW to UP to NCDOT(1996) and up on ebay a couple years ago.

regarding CGW 100, the chassis was used in the 1960s for Business car then named Tolmak, it is now Dallas on the active business train .

this from a thread on this forum
NEW ORLEANS- Numbered 99 Business car ex KCS TOLMAK(acronym for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Arkansas,Kansas) . Built new by the Darby Corp in 1966 using heavyweight frame from ex CGW 100(nee Pullman MONTE CRISTO), which was destroyed by fire at Oelwein, IA about 1960.

Late I know but I thought not having this information on this thread would only contribute to more missing info in the world

I hate it when people dredge up old threads but this one is one that deserves being addressed, especially since mis-information has been presented.
