I just received a CCS passenger car and the lighting wouldn't work. The magnetic "wand" was included, but I think the batteries may be bad. There were no instructions on how the battery might be checked or changed. If there are any instructions or videos out there, I would be happy to view it.

    Thanks for your help.

There is a thin piece of clear flexible plastic in the door on one end of the car which breaks the circuit between the two batteries preventing accidental battery drain. Did you pull it out? If not, pull it out slowly, fast can sometimes move the batteries out of place. If the lights still don't come on it is probably just a matter of the batteries not being properly seated, I have had several like this. Pop off the roof. The battery holder is held in place with a small screw. Remove the screw and pull out the battery holder and adjust the seating of the batteries. This normally does the trick. If not, get new batteries.
