CNIS Reporting Mark?

    What or what company does the "CNIS" reporting mark represent? I just saw the reporting mark and they seem to have grain cars and boxcars. I presume it is related to Canadian national? Thanks for the info.

    It is CN. Maybe someone closer to their operations will know any further details.

    They are for international service, thus the *IS mark.

    Ya that is right, it is a way to do the taxes easier. That car can bill to US or Can income taxes.
