Seriously a full load of ballast would not be possible in that type of car. A whole loaded hopper would never discharge due to the pressure of weight from above. The cubic capacity is far greater than its weight could carry. Looking at car re-use, you'll find a loading line/ tell tale somewhere near mid point. Even a couple of ton of crushed rock on a standard lift truck can block up because of the mass when discharging thru a full width tale gate. Regards, dave
