Since I can't find a thread already running...I'll start off: This is a picture of a Northern Pacific F7 AB Pair in N-Scale, that I repainted in the Raymond Lowey green mainstreeter scheme. I also detailed it, and converted it to DCC. It is 118K so may take a few seconds to load. ------------------ The NP & UP N-Scale Railroad
Pray; Looking REAL impressive. You can also just drop the html in for this effect here on the site: ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO!
WOW! THAT'S N-SCALE? Whoever said you can't put detail in to N? I think that shows how far we've come in this scale. ------------------ MAX-RAILROADER
Thanks for your fine entry! I'm very impressed with the detail you have demonstrated on your N scale. Nice photography too. Are you using a pin-hole lens? Bill
Thanks for the encouraging words all! I took the picture on an Olympus D450Z Digital camera. That camera is what got me back in the hobby. After 3 years playing with computers I was chasing the cat with the camera, then she jumped up on my dusty old layout I started but never finished. Well a few photo's later I decided to use my free webspace to make a site, and here I am. ------------------ The NP & UP N-Scale Railroad
Stick with it man! The only way you could have done a better job on that would be if it were FRISCO! ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO!
Aaaaaaaa, maybe... I've got a set of N Bachmann Plus ABBA F7's I painted and detailed in BN. I'm thinking of entering them, but I don't have any good photo's and they're not as purrrrty as those NP's. I'm wanting to sell them anyway. They run alright, flywheel drives, but they're not modern enough for my Railroad. ------------------ MAX-RAILROADER [This message has been edited by Maxwell Plant (edited 22 March 2000).]
The entry by Gats that was posted here has been moved to a new thread in this same category. ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO!
Our contest ends April 30. We will announce our "winner" within a few days following. A reminder that the contest is not as much about winning or losing as it is just to see these wonderful works that all of you have created. Our Moderators will be the judges and will attempt to judge based on the photos but not on the actual quality or size of the individual photo. Charlie ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO!
