Mark, Just a couple of thoughts on the photo contests. Yes, you did a great job and thank you. I think everyone was covered with novice and winners battling out in the various categories. I think next year you should not have the eliminations. They just drag the contests out and our members have other things to do. I recommend doing it this way: I believe you mentioned only 25 spaces in a poll. Ok, no problem. The first 25 to enter are in. Also I think you would have room for all if you made it a maximum of two entries. I'm not sure we need even two. Most contests are run with one final item and this would give everyone a shot. Anyway, no eliminations. Get on with the business and the contests will end by the second week in January as I think most of us would wish. Cheers, Jim CCRR P.S. I'm going to take a break for awhile. Thanks for the feedback Jim. I agree, the voting took WAY too long for the End of the Year contests. Part of it was my fault for procrastinating, but that aside it was a LOT of work. We'll miss your entries during your break. Hopefully you'll still share in the Weekend Photo Fun!

New updates. Greetings contestants! Some of you might have noticed the challenges have been announced later and later these past few weeks. Well rest assured, I'm striving to correct that. What I'd like to do is start posting the challenges late Thursday afternoon so that the topic is put out there and gives people more time to plan on making an entry. Officially, photos will still have to be taken after midnight (12:01am Friday), but that shouldn't be a problem. If it comes late Thursday night or Friday Morning and I haven't posted a new challenge, or notice of why no new challenge will be held, feel free to make a post and say "Hey Mark, where's our challenge?! ". Also, I cant remember if I've contacted all the new photo winners recently about the receiving their "Photowinner" icon prize. If you've won and I haven't sent you the prize, please let me know so I can get it to you. That's all folks.
