Hi! This is my first post. I'm very much interested in CP Rail's passenger trains in the 1970s. I want to find web pages and books with photos of exterior and interior views, and floor plans of the 1970s cars.

I'm especially interested in photos or links to web photos showing the actual engines and cars used in the 1976 movie Silver Streak, with the "AMRoad" paint job over the "CP Rail"? I've only found two in all my web searching.
Here is one of leading FP7A engine 4070:

    or (with spaces)

and one of the trailing dome/observ car,

Thanks for any help you can offer!

On the AMRoad Silver Streak train Consist from the 1976 move. Does anyone know what the missing Coach number and Missing Manor sleeping car name/number is? This is all I can find for consist information. 613 Bag/dorm, Burton Manor Sleeper, Elgin Manor Sleeper, missing Coach number 1--, Wascana dining car, ------Manor sleeper, 108 Coach, Kokanee Park Dome Obs car.

After looking at the movie again, frame by frame you will find the 4th car number. Look behind the porter as he welcomes Chicago you will find the line number as 71, but the actual car number is on the door as the name of the sleepers are, that number is 118. This is the number of the coach in front of the Diner Wascana. Now all I need is the Manor Sleeper name of the car behind the Diner. I am working on a decal set for the complete train consist in HO Scale.

    hello

Have you ever figured out the other Manor Sleeper car? Now that Rapido Trains is releasing Kokanee Park, I am interested in procuring a complete set.
