Moose, While the DARE program deals with drug use, Operation Red Block attempts to educate the public regarding the dangers of disregarding rr crossing protections such as driving around down gates, etc, Hope this helps you out.
Ok. I thought Operation Lifesaver was thee only grade crossing awareness program. Guess each road has it's own?
Moose, I stand corrected! Conrail here in Detroit did not have Operation Red Block, just Lifesaver but talked about drugs to the kids anyway. The Operation Red Block on the other roads did deal with drug & alcohol problems - yes, similiar to DARE.
