Good day everyone. Just a reminder shout out for the 14th Ohio N Scale Weekend. The new location for the event is the Union County Fairgrounds at 845 N. Main St., Marysville OH. The dates for 2023 are set up Friday May 19th and the show running Saturday May 20 and Sunday May 21. The new location allows the show to be under one roof and there are provisions for onsite camping for those with campers/RV's. Marysville is located to the northwest of Columbus and is approx. a 20 minute drive from the previous location. Check out the 2023 Ohio N Scale Weekend page tab for participant and vendor information. There will be the door prize and live auction this year but there WILL BE NO Participant dinner on Saturday May 20th. We are looking at some other options to replace the dinner at this time. Registration forms are now up on the event page located to the right. If you wish to be part of the Ttrak layout at this year's event contact Andy at bellboyracing@gmail.com and let him know the types and how many of modules you would like to bring. Also if you have an interest in being part of the Free-Mon layout contact us at our email address at ohionscaleweekend@yahoo.com with what you would like to include and we can get your info to the planners of that layout. Contacting us the earlier the better for these 2 layouts as they will have a max size available. Hey all. We're about a month out and wanted to update some changes we've finalized for this year's event. In place of the dinner we will be able to have after public hours running of the trains! Folks have asked about this in the past and we are able to thanks to being in one building. There will be 2 food trucks supplying food during the day and we are working on getting them to stay until 7pm Saturday so folks can grab a bite to eat during the auction and after hours running if they so choose. And while at Marysville you are only about a 35 minute drive from Marion Union Station in Marion Ohio. Here the NS Sandusky line is parallel to the CSX Columbus sub with both crossing the CSX Mt Victory sub at grade. AC tower is also located here having been moved across the tracks and now sits next to the station. This year's event coincides with the monthly slide show held every 3rd Saturday at the station starting at 7pm. Whether it is a guest presenter or just a free for all it's always a good show.
