Has anybody tried to add web socket server code (and library) to the DCC-EX command station. I would be interested in hearing about any attempts or comments.
You might try reposting this in the DCC++ sub-forum as that is where most of the DCC-EX++ guys seem to hang out. We have experiments with an esp8266 or esp32 hosting a website and having custom code, but I'm not sure if anyone is playing with it at the moment. I'll post on discord and see who is using that. Right now our WiFi is happening in the ESP8266 and controlled with AT commands. I think it only uses 1 socket, but can allow 5 connections with the AT Firmware.
