    Hi all,

I finally got the parts and built my first DCC++ command station today with a Mega, Arduino motor shield, and makerfabs wifi shield. After installing the command station code, I am able to connect to the CS with a USB cable and use the Arduino serial monitor give manual commands. I can also manually connect to the CS with withrottle and control a loco with the app. Those commands also show up in the serial monitor.

However, I am unable to connect to the CS with the DCC-EX web throttle over the USB. Withrottle also cannot automatically find the CS.

Does anyone know why this may be happening?

Have you followed the steps here...

Wondering what you are doing when you say " I can also manually connect to the CS with withrottle" vs. "Withrottle also cannot automatically find the CS".

I use EngineDriver so not familiar with withrottle. Do you have the wifi setup as station or AP? Maybe someone who uses withrottle can jump in here. If not use the open-a-ticket on Discord for support in the options on the left side of the page there....

With withrottle, is is supposed to automatically detect the IP address and port for the wifi shield when connected to the CS in AP mode. Instead, I have to enter them manually.

I was trying to run the web throttle from Safari, so maybe that was the problem
