    Hello,
I m a Noob on DCC++.. I have a working JMRI/DCC++ box for my layout.. All works as its supposed to.. I am trying to build a second one for a friend but I have a problem with the base station end of the setup..
I have 4 different Arduino UNO boards, Some clone and one original, directly from Arduino board.
The problem is: When I run JMRI and WiThrottle, I get an Error saying the DCC++ serial port can not be found Cancel, Go to connections etc.. I have tried all 4 boards, Multiple Power Hats and all give me the same exact error.. I have compiled the code MULTIPLE times, downloaded new copies of the sketch for the base station, Tried different computers, all with the same failure message.

    WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????
    Dave

Did you plug the DCC++ USB cable into another port you normally do not use for the DCC++ unit? That may change the comm port number.

Its working... I found that I had the USB set to TTYUSB0 and it should have been ttyACM0.. Now all of my UNO boards work and run my trains !!!!!
