Hey, all...looking at the Rokuhan double slip switch and I see that there's a LH and RH version, but I'm at a loss as to what the real difference is; shouldn't they be the same?

Also, what is the Borg's collective thought on the operational reliability of a double crossover vs a double slip?

    Thanks!

I have never had trouble with my HO double slip. And so far as I know, the only difference between left and right is whether you mount it at this angle or that angle.

You can only have a left or right version in a single crossover. A double slip has both.

That needs a schematic drawing (traces through both configurations). ;)
However, as said, the switch is identical. and when you put your extended track on, you will run into the roadbed pinch point and have to trim off one or the other.

    Hmm... a double slip is
    when you have 2 banana
peels and you slip on them
    both...
