Easy Weathering

    Most people love the weathered realistic look but are afraid to try, and some thinking they need all kinds of supplies like powders, an assortment of paints and even an airbrush. Depending on how deep into weathering you want to go , the easiest way and this goes for the very basic beginner on up, is to do a simple wash. The added pics show just what I mean. The loco is the only one that got some airbrushing but everything else was done with a simple wash I mixed up with Mineral Spirits and Burnt Umber artist oil paint with a finish coat of Dulcote. Realistic looking N Scale is that easy. :)

    Great job weathering but . . . Those nice bright shiny trip pins just got to go.
