Can anyone give me a little further information about the Erie Railroad station named "Suspension Bridge, NY?" What town or city would it be near? Boxcab E50
On the Erie Railroad, Suspension Bridge, NY was located about 26 miles Northwest of Buffalo, at Niagara Falls, NY. The line to SB ran from the Erie's large E. Buffalo yards, (serving the stockyards and packing plants) branching off at Tonawanda. The Suspension Bridge connects Niagara Falls, NY with Niagara Falls, Ont. The Erie maintained a freight house and a modest yard at SB for interchange. Hope this helps, Bill
Hi Bill- Yes. Thank you. Pins it down nicely. I've just acquired an Erie train order copied at that office. But was not certain exactly where to find it. You been on the IM recently? Boxcab E50 [ 01. July 2004, 06:45: Message edited by: BoxcabE50 ]
