OK, so much for being a twit... I like the term "Goat Boats" for the C44-9Ws in the GN colors. I've also heard the term "ChiliMacs" for the Mexican-built SD70MACs. I use the term "Fleets" for any Santa Fe locomotives painted in the so-called Super Fleet colors.
Because Norfolk Southern F****d-up thats what it was a short while ago here on the ns when people thought they were taking us over!

I've heard Big New Santa Fe and bun snif, besides some of those the you folks have already mentioned. Incredible that we have so much time to make up nickname while trackside.
I dunno about that buy norfolk southern fast. I sure dont wanna work for somebody named Bubba or Jim Bob or have pork rinds at the safety award feeds. That is the BN style. Merge with a railroad and let the other guys officers run the show. That is why things be so crazy now what with Uncle Rob the Terrible from the ATSF as Chairman and all the little "Chicos" pulling strings for him!
First a little jab Burlington Northern Saved the Frisco... Nobody wants the ns we are the Black sheep of railroading and our paint scheme proves it.

Guess I would have to go with BIG NEW SANTA FE. However, that Burlington Northern Saved Frisco sounds pretty good! As for engines, it's got to be ChiliMacs and Goat Boats!
