Announcement says 3rd/4th Qtr of 2012. Obviously, with the continued issues with China, these release dates are really open to interpretation.
That FB post was made December 19, IIRC. He was talking about production, which is distinct from on the water or shipping. The way I read it is they were to be in manufacturing hopefully by the end of 2012...and the GP60s were in the same time frame... If I wanted the straight poop, I'd email Matt at the link on their web page. He's pretty good about returning emails, although I'm pretty sure he's getting real tired of telling folks a given product has been delayed. Understand, manufacturing in China bears little resemblance to what Americans think of as production. They do it in their own way in their own time, and you'll get it when you get it. And if you don't like that, go elsewhere. (That's the Chinese manufacturer talking, NOT Fox Valley ) Believe me, Matt wants the product as badly as you do. Dealing with the Chinese factories is NOT for the faint of heart. Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt.
That is why friends don't let friends go to China for manufacturing........ There is a big lie that manufacturing can't be done economically in the US.
Quite honestly, I'm fine with March. I've got the box of 10 reserved, and the wallet needs time to digest the 3 IM cab forwards it just paid for.
