Yes, I knew about them, those are great too:thumbs_up:, but I prefer my sanding than the Euro exchange rate. It's just that I can't mass produce my model "as is". Ben
We are getting close to November delivery of of first Funnel Flow Tank Car. We chose CLEX as our first roadname. Available in 4-packs and single units. MSRP $113 (4-packs), $32 (singles) http://www.ztrack.com/images/CELX640.jpg Sincerely,
Cool!! I use to work at Celanese in Deer Park/La Porte, Texas. Worked on three units while I was there! Saw these CELX tank cars everyday!!! I'll take them!!! (All, if I could afford them!) Thanks for the Update Hans! Hobo Tim
That's a beautiful Tank Car and a most welcome addition to our scale. I'm lucky that I own some modern Tank Cars from Kurt Lueck but I also know that not everybody can afford them. Now we can make some looooonnnggg Trains with lots of Tank Cars for a reasonable price. Thank's AZL!
Man oh man, the new AZL tank cars are gorgeous, but I also like the weathering on the real picture. Someday, I'm gonna 'gunk' up all my rolling stock........dirt is beautiful !! Let's all get tanked and soon !!!! )
And for those rivet counters out there unsure8ao, here's the weathered version of the road number modeled. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=783133 Time to get out the dirt and grime.
Welcome back to the dark side ) These are really nice looking units. I don't think SP used Funnelflows, but they will on my layout! Joe
The tank cars are here! Folks, these are simply incredible. I am just plain amazed. The detailing is fabulous. The first round of orders is going out to direct customers and dealers tomorrow. Rob
Today I had a chance to photograph the car. They are simply fantastic! And incase anyone is wondering what is on the warning placard: Rob
I PICKED UP A TANK CAR YESTERDAY. ROB'S PHOTOGRAPHY IS GOOD BUT THEY LOOK A LOT BETTER THAN THE PHOTO. THE DETAIL IS AMAZING. I WASN'T GOING TO GET ONE UNTIL I SAW THEM THEN I HAD TO HAVE ONE. YESTERDAY WAS LIKE A KID IN A CANDY STORE, BUT EXPENSIVE.
