Now that Paul, is brilliant, wish sometimes I had done a larger scale than HO, keep up the good work. http://www.badger-creek.co.uk
Paul2 does the shay run as well as it looks? (I'm kidding!) When you run these kind of engines, it is out in a garden setting, or is it in the house? You don't switch cars (wagons) around like we do with the little HO engines?
Watash it runs very slow and smooth due to the small gears. It is not radio controled but you can do switching without any problems. It runs outside but will run on a inside layout in train exhibitions
wow that little open spot between his message and signature is facinating I am I missibng something?? Translation- where's the pic??
Alan, it runs on butane gas, This scale is to small to run on Trappist If I would have a full scale Shay then it would be interesting to fill the beertank with some nice belgian beer
That engine looks lovely, Paul - it has the real look of a working engine, with the water staining on the side of the boiler and the well-used look of the paintwork. You can imagine the valve gear and motion being well saturated in and dripping with lubricating oil. Ben
