I just knew there was a French connection. Only I started out thinking it was Cajun French in Louisiana.

Hint: Don't always trust Google Earth __________ :we2-policeman: :we2-policeman: :we2-policeman: :we2-policeman:
I trusted GE....it took me right past it numerous times and I didn't even see it, until a few minutes ago Looks like a quaint little town. It's kinda hard to tell what type of facility it is, maybe a chemical processing plant? Fertilizer plant? It is in a highly agricultural area from what I can tell.
Good one Darren! This had to have been one of the longest and toughest ones yet!:thumbs_up:
If no one else has found it by tomorrow, I'll post the location. Hopefully someone else has got it and can share the fun!
The town looks like it only has about one of everything. There's a golf course close by, a fire station across the main track, small industrial area. I wonder how far it is to the Big City?
Sure are allot of "Black Lines" pointing away from Montreal that don't seem to go anywhere. :tb-err: :tb-err: :tb-err: :tb-err:
Geez....I guess those black lines that go "nowhere" may actually go "somewhere" like to the little town of ____________ . Spoiler alert: It's not on a black line, but it will lead to one. Oh, one more thing.... This town has a history with something that interests Darren.
Sorry, I am away from my regular computer for a few days and have not had time to search. I am in San Antonio just down the road from Flash helping my son move. I had pretty much searched every rail line north of the St Laurence and a bunch south.
Fine, I guess I'll post 45°11'5.29"N 73°24'32.51"W Napierville, Quebec As it turns out, this part of the line from the border to Saint Constant was bought in 1907 by the Delaware & Hudson as it was expanding into Canada and created the shortest, most direct route from NYC to Montreal. There, do I get bonus points for a short history lesson also??:tb-biggrin:
