I use whatever knuckle coupler comes with the car now adays and KDs for when they come with horn hook or they break. They all seem to work reasonable well for me.
I hope these new scale type couplers work with the old Kds and McHenrys and Accumates. I'm looking into buying a whole bunch of these couplers because I have mostly McHenrys and I hate 'em because those dumb little plastic molded springs always wear out really easily.
