Do you mean solid orange? GWI lines also have yellow and black. Chicago South SHore is orange, but with a (maroon?) stripe.
Oh My God Someone actually replied! (kidding) Anyways yes, Solid Orange with black lettering. If ya need a good starting spot, look at 47 and go north a little bit
???? 47???? Hmmm. 47th State is way west and south of the area in question. 47th Parallel is well to the north. Any highway numbered 47 would be a north-south route. Wow. I can't think of anything railroad using the number 47.
47??? (Hold on, I think I figured out what you meant there) I figured it out be simple to find a road that uses orange locos from one builder, but it seems that I am wrong so far.
the #47 is actually related to one of its internchange partners. (and the answer to that is literally a couple clicks away) this railroads main and possibly only customer is a cement plant.
Bill got it! Boxcab if your'e still wondering, #47 was a reference to Contest #47, the Lousiville and Indiana Raiload that the SIND Interchanges with.
Dang it, you beat me by minutes on that one, I found it, refreshed and you were there already! Next time I won't stop for lunch while I'm searching.
Argh. Have been busy trying to help a member, and also spending hours sorting through some Old Time Radio shows. Contest concentration powers not good today.
