I have a photo of a shed just like this one. But for the life of me I cannot remember where I took it...
Well If it is the same shed, then I can tell you, that it's not in a state with coast line to the Pacific either.
Taking out some more states by saying, that it's not in a state with coast line to the Gulf of Mexico. Also if they still use that one specific loco, I would say that might qualify to be in the loco quiz (bought new, and as far as I know, the only one there)
Well, I think you have eliminated all border states (nothing bordering Pacific, Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico or Canada) EXCEPT New Mexico and Arizona. So its one of those two states or a state not bordering anything other than another state. Can we narrow it down to those two states above or can we at least eliminate those two?
Okay, it's been a while, so I'll cut down the search area to 4 states today, and cut it further back with one state a day, the next few days. Those 4 states are: Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas - Good hunt
So today Oklahoma goes out, and the search area is now limited to Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas. Bonus hint: it's a "low" railroad - try to figure out, what I mean by that
Wilson, Arkansas Delta Valley and Southern As of 1996, motive power was a 1954 built GE 45 ton, side rod diesel switcher. DV&S 50 was the only locomotive used on the railroad from 1954 until some time recently. The only current information available is that the Burlington Northern Santa Fe put the locomotive up for auction in Oklahoma City on May 6, 2009. Bidding closed May 26. [5] It is not known who the buyer, if any, was or where the locomotive is now. The locomotive was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007 as Delta Valley & Southern Railway Locomotive #50.
I've got one thing to say: Beautiful done Keith. All information given, is exactly as I'd expect. I've held the last 4 contests, someone else is gonna take over for a while ;-)
