GP35s on the Great Lakes Central Cadillac Turn

    Yesterday, I headed up to Cadillac, MI, and caught two former Ann Arbor Railroad GP35s heading north. There were about 4 inches of snow on the ground and it never rose above 14 degrees, but it was a great chase!

    Something about EMD's with GE trucks, looks cool and different than the Blomberg type!:rolleyes:

    Very, very cool!!! Love it.

    I am especially pleased to see and hear the engineer of that train sounding his horn, until the crossing was "fully occupied". This is something which I have seen in person and video, far too many times, Class One, Class Two and Class Threes, etc, totally fail on an daily basis. The person in your video is doing it right!
