Hi guys I would like to appologize to all the senior members I may have affended earlier in my Ztrain Career. I know I have ticked off guys like Gerd (the best engine painter in the world IMO) and others. I have just recently been diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder and did not know I suffered from this until family suggested I get tested. Well all and all they we're right and I have Bi-Polar. So It explains my attitude in the past towards members, and its not just this forum its others as well where I have pissed off senior members. I truly am sorry and will not use it as an excuse for I'm still learning about it. Just wanted to share this with my friends on here, and not stay in the closet about it forever. Thanks for all understanding my position. I really appreciate it my Z scale enthusists.

    Matthew,

I feel for you. I am not bipolar but I have lots of family members who are. I can see how difficult it makes what would be otherwise normal socializing. I wish I could say that there's a magic pill or whatever but I haven't seen one. Those I know living with bipolar disorder are constantly managing it the best they can.

    Good luck to you.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Matthew,
Being diagnosed as bi-polar must have been a shock (and relief to know what was going on), but now you have a real reason to model the Milwaukee Road--they had Bipolars, too! :)

Matt, sometimes knowing the problem can be a big relief. I hope you get help for your problem and control it.

    Matt,

If truth be known, I suppose all of us could own up to some sort of issues that plague us. So, thanks for letting us know. Now, go do some trains like I am going to do pretty soon after breakfast. Nothing better than doing trains..........ah yes.

Thanks for the support I love you guys! I really do. I wish I had a completed lay-out to run and just relax. Truth is I havn't completed one single lay-out in Z yet. I have my completed track plan and bench for my new lay-out but havn't worked on it in over 3-4 months. I took a lot of time off from Z to try to find myself. I also started collecting game worn NFL Miami Dolphins jerseys, which has been costing me a minimum 1,000$ a piece. Very expensive hobby, but its something I've always loved and its fun to see if that jersey you bought for a fair price turns into a super star player who will one day be worth 10x the amount of what I paid for it.

Thanks again though guys, I will be back at Z modeling very soon! I still keep up every month over at Monster Z to see what comes out. Really like the fact they re-did the UP F7's and dummys. Cool to see that. Also the GP-30's are beautiful AZL does a great job. Can't wait for more road names. I really have to finish my lay out so I can run trains and just relax this winter : )

Really appreciate all the comments though guys, thanks a ton for the support!

    Matt,
One comment you made really caught my attention......."but haven't worked on it in over 3-4 months."

That statement most likely has applied to most of us at one time or another and for many we have to sometimes leave our hobby out in the dark for much longer periods of time. It's frustrating I know.....I've been there many times. Oh, I'm involved with Z all right with selling and product development, but the actual build times are often infrequent and short lived. Somehow life gets in the way all too often. Frustrating is an understatement.

Perhaps time off is exactly what we all need occasionally. It helps us refocus on more important things in life..... What? something more important than Z scale? Yes, I'm afraid, but still when we come back to it, the warm fuzzies come back easily.

I just began a new module myself this past week and the feeling of satisfaction and pleasure is hard to beat. Now the impatience sets in to 'build Rome in a day....or at least two weeks')

See you around the work bench.
