    The last topic showed what pictures I took at the yard (north of the station, wye, and crossings). The next series of pictures were in the general vicinity of the station. For thos of you not familiar, refer to some early topics in this forum for more information about Hamlet and its station. Basically, the station guards the crossing between the North-South route and the East-West route.

    This first pictures shows a Westbound unit coal train (~90 cars, empty). The cars are all SCEX (South Carolina Electric??)

    Here's what the train was made up of, all hoppers loaded with a lightish colored rock, all were private owner "VULX" some lettered Vulcan;

    Hey, blue is blue, right? :eek: Looks like CR blue.... look also at the yellow on the front edge of the trailing unit.... where'd that come from? [​IMG]
