<font color="336633">I have always wanted to do some hand built track, but my flex track looks like a yard in bad need of repair.......

but I would like some code 55 sidings on my HO layout.

Bill, I appreciate your offer to help. What is RailImages? I am not familiar with it. Is it free? Thanks again, Gary

One of the first layouts I had was built using code 70 track on dyed Campbell ties. I tried handlaying the turnouts, but gave up & used Shinohara code 70 turnouts instead. With the addition of paint on the rails, some ballast & ground foam, plus a less-than-arrow-straight line, my track looked like the worn-out shortline I was modeling.

If I could afford it (or hit the lottery), I'd build my next layout with code 70 mains and code 55 sidings, spurs and yards.

    I little more progress.
This is what I have done in the last week. It's not a lot, but hopefully I will have some time to complete the third turnout today. The turnout from the mainline is a #8 and the others will be #6.
