Help: LL Cracked Axle Gears

Happy holidays to all. I purchased some brand new HO Life Like BL2s years ago. They ran great and then went into storage for a few years. Neither one will run now and the issue is that all of the axle gears are cracked in all four trucks.
I am an N scaler so I am not familiar with the history of these locos. Was it a problem? Can one get the parts and is there a good number or email address through which to inquire? Walthers?

Do a search here as this problem as been discussed many times before here.

 

All of my Proto 2000 locos have had cracked gears (apart from an S1), the gears are the same as in older Athearn locos so spares should not be hard to get over in the USA.
