I have several ALCO D&H images within the DHVM under the "Railroad" and "Gallery" sections. Also under the "Railroad" section are links to the BLHS where there are some additional images as well as other details. Let me know which ALCO you go with. There is actually two still in D&H colors (short term only) which as PA #16 & #18 which recently returned from service in Mexico.

According to BLHS information, the ALCO - C420 (Class ARS-20) were Sold in 1987. The ALCO (DL-701)- RS-36 (Class ARS-18) were Sold / Scrapped on several years between 1988 and 1995 while a few don't show a date. These might be still in service under the CP colors; but, I don't know for sure.

RS36 number 5036 is currently leased to the Upper Hudson River RR in North Creek,NY. Unit is privately owned and available for lease so could very well be sent to your area.

The number may not be correct, I will check on it. The unit is definately an RS36 and is in full lightning stripe livery. Owner is Mike Kelley, a dispatcher for Guilford in N.Billerica (last I knew)

Correct number for unit at North Creek is 5019. Also the 5018 still exists at the Delaware and Ulster RR.

The DHVM has older images of both engines. I would love to get copies of recent photographs to be added to the collection.
