Historical aerials model fun

    Ok I’ve been on historical aerials. They have a slide feature that lets you slide say 1957 with 2028 You get to see what was and is there at different tines in exact location. Truly think it’s invaluable to model railroading

    So you get to see thing like missing turntables etc and the featured really stand out. So with weathering chalks I went ahead and did something subtle. If you don’t see it ok. But I do. And I like it. I modeled a roundhouse with turntable removed. So I made ground look like it was :)

    anyway it’s something to check out. Cool. I like seeing what was and what is.

    Very cool! I like how you modernized the turntable pit. I love that site. So much fun to explore!

    Agreed! Some areas have seen so much change that it makes my head spin.
