Ok I’ve been on historical aerials. They have a slide feature that lets you slide say 1957 with 2028 You get to see what was and is there at different tines in exact location. Truly think it’s invaluable to model railroading https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer So you get to see thing like missing turntables etc and the featured really stand out. So with weathering chalks I went ahead and did something subtle. If you don’t see it ok. But I do. And I like it. I modeled a roundhouse with turntable removed. So I made ground look like it was can you see it? Look again anyway it’s something to check out. Cool. I like seeing what was and what is.
