That is very good news indeed. i didn't realize that Hornby owned other brands like Corgi and Airfix that were a big part of my childhood. Long ago I recall a Chicago hobby shop owner telling me that winter storms were excellent for his business, as hobbyists would load up on projects prior to the storm's arrival so that they could enjoy their time at home.
If only this upturn would continue... I, too, did not know they owned Airfix. Many years ago, I was an enthusiast and I built a whole bunch of their OO scale WWII armor.
