I would like to get involved in G-scale, and would like your suggestions on how to get started. I model HO scale now, and would like highly detailed SCALE models from the get go. Who makes the most accurate locos, cars, track, etc...? Thank you!

    "Accurate?"

Don't get involved in THAT one.

For North American protoype material I stick with Aristocraft and USA Trains. Both produce excellent, reliable products, in 1/29 scale, and at a fair price as well. Take a look at their web sites. You'll see there is a good variety.

I know...the track is "the wrong guage" for 1/29 scale rolling stock but it works out to about 3 inches {the width of one rail) and only the worst of the nit pickers will notice. And only the worst of those will say something.

Take a quick look at the my train albums at PhotoPoint.Com and you'll see a good mix of these manufactures. No Bachmann and no LGB.

Another good source for pictures and answers is this site. Welcome.

    Cheers.
