I have a set of HO scale boxcars whose identity is a mystery. They are entirely plastic 40' Refeers, and came with horn-hook couplers. They are decorated in schemes of various beer makers, such as Pabst. Does anyone know which company produced these and when they were produced?
I acquired them several years ago from a distant friend who's name I cannot even remember.
If anybody know about these cars, please reply. Thanks!!!!

    Nick,
Are the couplers mounted on the body or the trucks? And you saw absolutely no markings on the underside of the car, right?

    friscobob,

The couplers are truck-mounted, and the only thing on the underside is "Made in Hong Kong." I checked over the rest of the car, and there is nothing to indicate the manufacturer. Thanks

I finally got a chance to check out the site that slynch suggested, and as wt&c suggested, the cars were of Life-Like origin. Thanks everybody!
