    Today Frisco 1630 passed the FRA inspectiion.The last time I saw her steam was 19 years ago when I was given a take the throttle certificate. IRM has done a wonderful job on her. I look forward to going back up to Union this coming spring to see her under steam again. This time my 16 year old daughter will get to see what her father has been telling her about 1630. Every time we have gone up to Union we always made a point to stop by the steam shop and check on the progress of 1630!!!! I myself am pretty stoked about this as it brings back memories about the day I was at the throttle on IRM"s mainline.

    It's always exciting to hear of another steam locomotive restored to operation. Where are all of our resident Frisco fans?
