In the mood of steam (*56K Hazard*)

On 08/11/07 I had achance to visit th Thonburi Locomotive Depot for some of the steam behind-the scenes

Our great granddad was towed out of the shop



Carbody parts is stowed while the whole loco is being overhauled.



His builder's plate is shiny and he's just been painted



The crew gave him a some inspections

 

Steam crews bring some old tie butts in to pre-heat the boiler for the light-off



We might look old but, we're strong.



He slowly awakens and will be hot and ready for tomorrow's trip but, now I'm sleepy and need some rest. I will post the steam trip pics tomorrow.
