That was the same brainless inquiry I received about that missing MILW roll. This was a couple of weeks after the last cleanup train had left. Hardly a possibility. They did eventually give me another 36 of K64. Whoopee. I never went back.
I think I will take the decorations down New Years Day. The girls are obviously busy, but for every Xmas and birthday I get them an n scale item based on what I think they’re interested in. They both like passenger cars right now, so this year one received a lighted CN sky top lounge and the other received a lighted MILW superdome. We will install some passengers they have painted and decorated and then run them sometime this week while I’m on half days. Their consists are non-prototypical but they love it and that’s all that matters. A NS F7 hauls an open Tri-level CN autorack, a WSOR boxcar in breast cancer awareness pink, and a CN cylindrical hopper. The CN skytop will join that consist. The MILW superdome will join a MILW skytop and sleeper…behind a closed BNSF autorack and a NYC stock car (doors open of course-so you can see the cattle), all pulled by a CR GP40. Around all that I’ve got to finish weathering some Kato 53’ articulated wells and their containers and I may take a swing at some Metra coaches like I was supposed to last weekend or add reflective stripes to some centerbeams.
