To finish dry walling the front porch/layout room. is wired with wall switch to control just layout power and lighting. Then start building a switching layout.
Picked up HO brick styrene Thursday afternoon for Ft. Scott scratch build project and started cutting walls this afternoon. Our day started out bad when we had a tire blowout on the freeway this morning, was having problems getting the jack to work because my hands are not in the best shape from years of riveting commercial aircraft at Boeing. Luckily a nice guy stopped to help me change the wheel and we were back on the road pretty quick. Seams like our truck is always having problems ever since we purchased it last May, just got it out of the shop Thursday after the power steering was replaced. If it's not one thing it's another, must have a gremlin living in it. Fortunately it's still under warranty so there wasn't any charges for repairs. It's a 2003 GMC Envoy so we can expect some problems every once in awhile but it's making a habit of problems way too frequent. Joe
That’s crazy. Are we both building the same layout? My plan is very, very similar to yours. Everything in N scale and roughly the same track geometry. Crazy!
