Welcome back everyone. I hope you were able to accomplish everything you had set out to do. I wore my BNSF RR Days shirt this weekend while working on the layout. Doing so in remembrance of of one of my favorite shows. It was a good run. Now, lets see how you all did...

Saturday: Was busy at the dealership. I sold three cars before noon and it was non stop right up until closing time. Angela and I celebrated by having our first real date night since March and enjoying a meal at one of our favorite restaurants.

Sunday: I got up and got ready for our day trip to Jacksonville. I slipped into the work shop with my Earl Grey, found a great video presentation from the B&M Historical Society on Manchester NH and did some switching operations. Later that night I watched another B&MHS video and switched out another train. My "freelanced" layout is not holding up to my scrutiny, so I have been using what little spare time I have in looking at Google Earth to find a suitable switching prototype based on B&M, MEC or even VTR.

So how about you? What did you accomplish this last weekend of June? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Friday the 3rd of July to start the process all over again. Until then, stay cool, healthy and safe and as always...

    High Greens!

We had our Granddaughter - she is amazing!! Love her so much.

I did manage to get some modeling done. My SW8 is painted. As well as a couple of S2's for a friend.
I also made progress on a couple more of my downtown buildings.

Hope Y'all had a great weekend,
    Wolf

Like always I did the weekly cooking. Didn't get to the shrimp and pasta. I'll try this week sometime.
I did manage though to prime and paint 16 N scale hoppers. Clear coat and decaling this week.
Got a Kato NW1 taken apart for stripping and painting. Now there's a Chinese torture puzzle if I ever saw one.
Messed around on that site and found a bunch of cars for another project.
    Talk at ya Friday

I'm printing the final one of the 25 FMC 4200 cuft bathtub gons right now. I gotta cure about 8 of them, as I kept the Photon crankin' all weekend, removing them from the build plate, removing the supports and washing the excess resin off, but didn't spend the time to run the curing process (12 min/car).

Simply too worn out from work, these past few months. Fell sleep every time I sat down for a few minutes. :(

Me too! Had a mind numbing wisdom tooth toothache out of the blue Saturday morning at 2AM from sleeping with my jaw on a folded pillow watching YouTube videos Friday night. Could not find a single emergency dentist all weekend due to the covid issue. Could not do any modeling, could not think, just suffer.

Practically overdosed my way through the weekend with Tylenol PM, falling asleep every time I sat down for a few minutes. Didn't eat anything, and only drank enough water to swallow the pills. Got a 3:30pm dentists appointment today, and don't think I can endure another 6 hours of this throbbing pain.

Got most (not all) of the air brushing I wanted to get done. Got several cars ready for decaling. Also got 4 cars out of the "repair bin" and spent time at the workbench fixing stirrups, busted brake shafts, very crooked floor frames. Also took the airbrush and touched up things as they got fixed/replaced. Spent quite a bit of time yesterday airbrushing more parts for the Albemarle Station. Namely the passenger shed extension. Next weekend I hope to get the shed put together. Picture dosen't show the columns of the shed which I also painted. Also painted the rock wall I finished building last week as well as "capped" the wall. In any event, here's a shot of the cars I got back in running order as well as station "parts":

While thinking I would have a good bit of time Saturday and Sunday afternoon, I ended up only getting Sunday afternoon free. Did manage to accomplish a good bit of what I was planning but not all.

Put in a cornfield by the farm, installed more fence at the propane dealer, installed fence at the cement plant, wired up some interior building lights and started on some additional scenery around the creek.

I've been working all week on this thing but made good progress this weekend. I have a long way to go still, but I'm finally at a point where I'm just fine tuning. I used two different sized wheels in front trucks to back so it's not level - I hadn't considered that when taking the pics, I was just testing out different wheelsets in my trucks. Anyway, my Little Joe heat tender in progress:

So much interesting stuff going on. For my part, I put in two turnouts and three sections of about eighteen inches of track per siding. Earlier today, the rest of five turnouts were begun. I had made some track previously for the two turnouts but I think I need about twelve to eighteen inches more. As you may have surmised, I make the track sections in six inch lengths and don't usually have shorter sections unless they are left overs from the track laying. Anyway, plenty to do. Have a good, successful, healthy and hopefully pain free week.
