Welcome back from the weekend. How did you do?

Saturday: Was a nice relaxing day. Since I had loaded the Focus up the night before, I simply had to jump in the car and head to the show a mere 23 minutes away. I was set up in no time as I realized I was the only operating layout at the show. Unfortunately, after 10 days or so of rain, the skies cleared and this combined with the lack of layouts, left many folks out to do something else and attendance was slim. At 3:00, I packed up, grabbed a late lunch, took a quick ride on the Sportster then had an enjoyable dinner with my brother and sister-in-law.

Sunday: Was domestic duties day, but I managed to get the layout up and running and even got a longer ride in. All in all, a nice weekend.

So how about you. What did you accomplish this weekend. let us know. We'll be back on Friday the 10th to start the process all over again. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

    Well, ---
Saturday: I cleaned track -- and a ran trains!!
I also put back (repositioned) trucks and autos that my granddaughter has messed around with. I can't and won't stop her from playing around. (She's just about 5 years old) and she absolutely loves choo choo's. Gonna let her play as long as she wants -- because, there may come a day when she has no more interest. I am looking into picking up an N-Scale Thomas the tank for her -- so, she has her own Choo Choo to run.
    I also weathered my barn:

Then I body mounted couplers on 3 box cars I had been given.

    Sunday:
Not much as far as model railroading -- couldn't get motivated.
I did however do a little work on a kick scooter for my granddaughter. - I am refurbishing the one I was given when I was about 2 years old.

Hope Y'all had a great weekend,
    Wolf

Friday I was able to build o e kit and decal two cars completely. I started two other cars but realized I had the wrong data decals for the flat cars.

Sunday I started the scratch build project that I drew up a week ago. It turned out pretty good. Small glitch during assembly. But worked out. All that is left is a little paint touch up, weathering, and adding lights to the interior. I left one wall off so as to see the inside.

Sorted out and listed a couple of surplus N scale items to sell. Then began looking at detail placements for my HOn30 critter project. Ready to scrub it for primer painting now.
