Sharing my latest model. 1957 Euclid TS-24 motor scraper. I never got into modeling heavy equipment. The only one I did was a pneumatic road roller, years ago. Few time ago I was wondering about doing a "bug-eye" Euclid scraper but quickly regreted the idea as I couldn't find any drawings and it would be very difficult to model using resin castings (I wasn't into 3D printing, yet). I found recently a very basic drawing from an old prospect, and finally have material to get my hands on it. When I decided to jump into this project in December last year, I considered it an ambitious project. After some hard work and many hours modeling, I got it finally materialized. And I'm quite amazed with the results. Joao
WOW, excellent detail. I work in the heavy equipment industry and our dealership used to be a TEREX dealer back in the day, so I've seen a few of the old faded lime green units pass through the service department. Never thought to take pics. The overall finish on your scrapers is great -- love the minor details and smoothness of the finish, really well done.
Thank you very much, guys! Very glad to hear you like these. That's so cool, Lance. While searching the web for good pictures of the real deal I found this nice one. Here, already under the Terex brand. Joao
