JTC 40' Chassis are in stock, and Shipping out this week to Distributors and Direct Dealers! North American Prototype 40' Chassis with 'gooseneck' frame. Detailed plastic model comes assembled, Ready to Run. Initial Release is two 6-packs. As mentioned before these are hand assembled with numerous parts, and decorated according to photos. Each 6 pack includes three different schemes with each scheme represented by two different road numbers. Also in the package is a bag of landing gear to change out from a down position (installed) to an up position (in bag) for transport by truck. The landing gear is not glued and is held in place by being a tight fit. Just pull away from the frame and it will come off. Please be careful not to pull too far away or they will break. We hope you enjoy these detailed models. These chassis have metal plates built into them and connect with the magnets in all JTC 40’ containers, and also, by using our retro fit kit (115105), will make a very nice connection to the Atlas 40' model using magnetic force. While these are stated to be for Atlas, we have been told by other modelers that they work in other brands as well - with some "modeling work". Packaged in a Plastic Case for protection. Batch 2 will be packages in sets of 2, in a smaller plastic box. Hi Vince, the first early Chassis one will be in Batch 2, Due in Q2, 2020. Mitsui O.S.K., It will have round 'wheels' on the Landing Gear, not square feet as shown. Other 70's & 80's - without the strips, will be in Batch 3, due Q3-2020. Early smooth side 40' containers will be released NEXT month, as they are in production at this time, with other types the following months. A Schemes Flyer is due soon. - JTC-Steve
Thanks I will be modeling the fall of 1979 so will be looking for some seatrain & sealand containers along with various chassis
