kato's poor service

    just letting everyone know that i waited for two months and now have cancelled my dash 9 shells order from kato. due to the poor service and being lied to 4 times about the parts being shipped. does anyone know who else might make shells for the dash 9? and a big beware if you order from kato. thanks a lot

    To be competely honest I have nothing but GOOD service from them. I sent them some question in November, and they were replied to quickly, parts were sent quickly, and 30 days later (Dec 25) I got a E Mail Christams card from them! I am not sure if that is common, or just 1 nice employee, but it made me start to forgive SOME of Katos errors.

    (fortunately) I have never had to order anything from Kato... Their focus seems NOT to be on the U.S. market, which could explain their actions... Good Luck!

    Always had good luck ordering shells from them. You have to ask if they have them right there, in stock. If not, ordering can take a very long time, as you might have to wait for another production run ie: the C44-9Ws. My only gripe is the cost!!! exp: $ 25.00 each for U30C shells, is a bit high! But at this time, no other choice. Believe me, there have been times dealing with them, that I've thought about switching to raising guppies!!!

    THATS WHAT YOU GET BNFAN99 FOR GOING TO A INFERIOR HOBBY SHOP THATS NOT ALL ABOUT SERVICE.I have no problems getting Kato parts and service.They have always been very eager to help or give a suggestion whenever possible.Mabey you should start looking elsewhere for your modeling. [​IMG]
