Here in Syracuse, NY. There are more Helms Leasing units, then CSX. Is Helms leasing the major partner in giving CSX most of it's extra help?

Nice leasers, Richard. I like those 5000 series units... The only 5000 series HLCX units I have caught are ex-UP SD50's.

So the SD 50's are the main Helm leasing power, or is sd 42-2 is Helms main unit to lease?

Helm has some of everything out there...

A lot of locos are rebuilt to SD40-2 standards, even though they are housed in SD40, SD45, SD40-2, SD40T-2, etc. bodies....

Where is Helm Leasing located? What I am interested in is the newest locomotive that they lease. I see more of Helms, then other leasing outfits here in Syracuse, NY. They seem in better shape then most CSX power.

I like to see the lease units. It adds lots of color and at times some great power to chase. not to mention at times some very rare or unusual power lash-ups.

It does provide some interesting lash ups. Here in Syracuse, NY. CSX, has one new GE unit with old rebuld Helms SD 42-2s. I can see that they are the work horse of this company.
