Well I finally finished the decoder install in my 0-6-0 saddle tank. Decoder install was a Z2 and would fit without any mods to shell if I didnt want a working headlight. Of course I wanted that so I did need to modify the weight in the shell to allow for the wires and the SMD to fit. Light is directed to the hooded headlamp via a piece of fiber optic. My thanks to Mark Watson and John Moore for posting photos and giving ideas in other threads on Trainboard as it gave me great inspiration as to how I wanted to complete this project. Cool beans. -Walter
Congrats. That was pretty challenging. That was my first N scale loco. Too bad mine is dead due to Zamac cracking.
