Anyone out their know where I can get pictures of a wheel car for a MOW train??? Doesn't matter if its a gondola based wheel car or a flat car based wheel car. I would like to find a few pictures of each if possible. I want to scratchbuild one or 2 for on my MOW train.... Doesn't matter what road they are, being I'm going to to build it and freelance it to the B&O and so on. To which ever style Gondola or flat car based wheel car... As always TIA everyone!

John, what is really sad is that the last time I saw a load of wheels being transported, they were on a flat-bed semi heading north on I-65 near Evergreen, AL. What's even worse is that I-65 runs parallel to the CSX (ex-L&N) main all the way between Mobile and Montgomery, AL. Now you would think that railroad wheels should be transported by rail, not truck ... :D

THANKS Jim! I appreciate it! This is a start!

Hank, I know isn't it something.... I mean the truckers are getting more and more of the railroads involved I mean really... Years ago the railroad and the truck drivers were litteral enemies! Now, they're like brothers! Amazing! But then, hauling wheels for a railroad cuts their cost to hual them so... And saves money for the mainline!
