Has there been any photo or drawing image of the 13-window passenger caboose used on Louisiana & North West RR's mixed trains of the 1940's?

Pls. let me know. Thanks. Blessings, Denny W

I recall seeing an L&NW article in Railfan & Railroad years ago. But do not recall when or what all they covered. Seems like the cover was one of those art renditions. Anyhow, usually the R&R articles have some photos of current and some older rolling stock items.

The L&NW placed its Caboose 212 illustrated in operation for passengers on the mixed train run thrice weekly between Gibsland and Chestnut, LA, 37.7 miles, then. The caboose had six windows on the other side. Whether the L&NW had any more cabooses of this type or use its regular-size ones for mixed service remains a question.

Danny, after seeing your post on Chaski and here, I did a search for L&NW. Most of the stuff that came up was of the modern day L&NW, but there was one thread that had a couple of caboose photos. They looked like all other cabeese, no 13 window one on there. It certainly is an interesting caboose. It makes me wonder if it was converted from some other piece of equipment--a wrecked passenger car? Troop transport car?
