I am looking for some resources to find diagrams for the consist of the inaugural Super Chief. I am planning on releasing the entire consist in Resin in N and eventually HO, but my CAD Designer needs drawings with measurements. Any help would be great! I thought at least Forward would have been in the Pullman Library ATSF Volume, but no luck there.

There is a series of books put out by the Santa Fe Railway Historical & Modeling Society that covers most all the Santa Fe cars, both heavyweight and lightweight. The inaugural Super Chief cars are well covered in them. Here is an example showing the diners in that series.

There are some side elevation drawings in the back of Iron Horses of the Santa Fe Trail. They are not printed very large but most of the dimensions can be read. There are plenty of photos in Early Diesel Daze by John B. McCall. I believe there were only two of these box cab diesels purchased by the Santa Fe. 1A and 1B, nick named Amos and Andy. There were three other locomotives of this type built by EMC, two demos and one for the Baltimore & Ohio. Santa Fe did operate one of the demo units for a short time and called it 1C, so I guess they may have put it on the inaugural run for insurance. It was assembled at General Electric and had a different body than the two engines assembled for the Santa Fe by the St. Louis Car Company. The Santa Fe units had a more "semi-streamlined" cab than the demo unit.

OK, after a little reading, I found this.
All the photos of the first revenue run of the Super Chief only show two locomotives, 1A and 1B on the point.
