multiply with 25mm to get from inches to mm. Check Microscale for decals, some N scale can be used for Z scale.
25.4 mm in an inch Here is a online converter http://www.onlineconversion.com/length_common.htm there are many more, Google "conversion cm to inches" Cannot help you with the decals Gary
There is a better tool for conversion and can be related to scale as well. Download ScaleCalc 1.0 Free - Simple calculator designed for scale models fans. - Softpedia "http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Math-Scientific/ScaleCalc.shtml" ScaleCalc is the tool you can convert any measurement in 1:1 scale to any other measurement in addition you can convert real dimensions to scale dimensions in any scale not just the popular trains scales. Got a drawing in N-scale and you want HO pop the dimensions into scalecalc and view the result.
1 inch = 2.54 cm 12 inches = ~30.5 cm = 1 foot 3 feet =~0.914 m = 1 yard What I discovered when reading most of the modelrailroading magazines, dealing mainly with Horribly Oversized is that between HO and Z there is a 2.53 ratio (see above). So every size and data given in inches on an HO trackplan can almost be translated into centimeters when shifting from HO to Z.:tb-wink: Funny, isn't it? " = inches ' = feet. Dom
Here are two links for scalecalc for Windows Dobbs Software (Model RR) Download ScaleCalc, ScaleCalc 1.0 Download
